The original enigma had the same poor controls, but was challenging and fun. This version enforces a time limit, in order to get any points for completing the round, which turns annoying controls into complete frustration. Why? That forces someone who just finished a puzzle to redo it "fast" just to progress. Completely annoying and vibe-killing. Poor game design. Could have been great.

But this is too fussy for me. All the placement has to be just so and the time limit only acts to compound the problem. Theres also no bonus for not using all the pieces which means that the developers are more interested in enforcing their one solution. Other games use stars for different things than just timing. Also, the lack of ability to turn the timer off means that my son doesnt enjoy the game very much either. Really too bad the physics are great and I was a fan of the series.

I just bought the game and I cant even start the first level. Disappointed. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, so I give it 3 starts and not 1.

I just bought this game yesterday for 1.99 and now its on sale for 0.99- are u kidding me?

I rarely buy apps, but this was an instabuy for me: Enigmo was my favorite game back in the 3Gs day. They claim to support 3Gs and above - but this game runs ATROCIOUSLY SLOW on my 4. Were talking unplayable status. So while Im sure this game is every bit as fun as the original, I simply cannot play it. Buyer be warned ;)

I loved the original app. This follow on is incredibly frustrating because of awkward controls. Most of the time is spent putting the widgets back when I accidentally move one when zooming in/out. The rotation mechanism is really hard to "grab". Im very disappointed.

Its a good game, but wont stay where I put it, whether or not I enlarge it. It isnt easy and after the first four levels of the first game, it wasnt even remotely apparent how to get the drops into the containers. There need to be some decent instructions as to what some of the tools are for and what features you cannot get through. Well, I gave up and deleted it.

What a challenge

You start out with really not much information and try to work to redirect fluids. It can be very interesting but there is a problem with the iPad air that I have. It constantly changes the size of the image and so you cannot place the tool where you needed to go. If that is fixed this will be a great game, if it also includes explanations of what the different tools are.

I am a big fan of the original Enigmo, so I had to get this when I saw it. This version has lots of new levels, yay! Excellent game, and with the most recent app update, you can take as long as you like to solve each puzzle. The only thing that is odd is that I cannot get the triangle piece to split a stream of particles into two streams, as it was intended in the original game. This is a very minor problem, however. I cannot wait for more levels!

Edit: since posting Ive noticed that this game is by a different company. My mistake... Well played Team Chaos, playing off Pangeas game names to trick me into wasting my money. I absolutely loved the first two Enigmo games. However, this game changed the controls from easy to use and well designed to almost unplayably bad. Instead of having a ring with which to rotate pieces, you have to touch a dot in front of the piece, forcing you to guess since your finger is now directly in your way. The sensitivity and "touch radius" of the pieces is also smaller so I regularly move the board instead of the piece. Finally, when you drag new pieces onto the board, you drag an icon instead of the piece. This icon may or may not represent where the piece will drop. I beat the first two games multiple times, but I cant even finish the second world on this one, because the controls are so bad. Sadly a waste of money.

Dont waste your money. The controls are absolutely horrible and this makes some levels impossible. Wish I would have read the 1 review above before purchasing because he nailed it.

Controls are pretty bad,on top of that it glitched on one of the first levels and although it seems solved,the liquid vanishes in thin air and the lvl remains unsolved,no response from the support team.,dont waste money and be stuck with a 5 lvls game like me...

I was a big fan of the original game but this version is unplayable because the controls are impossible. Developers, please look to the original game as a model and rework the controls. What a waste that you created 100 new levels and I -- and most likely many others -- wont bother trying them out.

The game is not the same as the first version. Gave up after first level as the controls were not accurate.
